Second Saturday is at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month.
If library programming for you and your family is difficult to attend during the week, register for Second Saturday, presented by Jackie Sisco. This program is part of our literacy-based strategy encouraging reading, talking, playing, singing, and writing in young children. Enjoy a featured theme read-aloud story with plenty of time for activities. There will be an opportunity to take related books home after the program. August 10 – Family yoga and story time is adults and kids ages 2 and older. Yogis (adults) and Yoginis (kids) come together in a lighthearted environment for individual, partner and family Yoga fun as we incorporate stories and poses! Age and developmentally appropriate poses, animated breathing exercises and soothing relaxation techniques awaken the
inner-child of all age participants. Laughter and love fill each class and is sure to inspire the entire family’s relationship. This bonding class is open to extended family members and caregivers too!
